Megan's major first haircut!

Today I gave Megan her first major hair cut. She has always had so much hair and I have trimmed it a few times, but today I cut about 2-3 inches off. She had her Pictures scheduled for tomorrow so I thought it was about time. I cut Katie's hair too about the same amount.

Today we celebrated Katie's birthday! What a glorious one too. Katie has been through so much in her life but is such a happy little girl despite it. She is a beautiful, talented and one amazing person. I love her so much and couldn't imagine our family without her. Katie LOVE'S animals and it shows. Most of her presents were animals of some kind. We love you little princess happy 4th birthday!

Katie with the dog she really wanted. It does things when you play with it. Shakes your hands, wags it's tail, barks, etc. Needless to say she fell in love with it at the store and has wanted it ever since she saw it when we went shopping for Megan's birthday.

She also wanted this baby that swims (which she got from Robs parents), along with princess Aurora doll and dress up kit, a new dress and another outfit.

Katie really wanted to go to Arctic Circle for her Birthday! (We usually let the kids decide where they want to go and take them out). Here are the 3 kids there!

Happy Birthday Rob!

April 13th 2009

Today we celebrated Rob's Birthday! He wanted to go shooting for his birthday so he and his brother went and did that over the weekend. Rob is a great dad and husband and I want him to know how much we appreciate and love him. Have an awesome birthday!

Rob loves stargate so he got season 6, The Ark of Truth, a new white shirt, Pj,s, and money to go towards his GPS he wants.

When we celebrated Easter with our families we also did some Birthday celebrations too. In my family it was Rob, Katie and Steph's Birthdays (we did Megan also since she was sick last month). Below are some pics of us at my parents then we did the same with Rob's family on Easter as well with pics to follow where we celebrated Rob and Katie's birthdays as well.

Easter fun!

Easter time! We had such a busy Easter this year. But a fun one. We started off with our visit to Rob's Grandpas for a Easter hunt. My kids got there late so they missed it but they won the big purple bunny in the raffle so they were happy. Below is a photo with grandpa and all the grand kids that came.

Later that day we went to Rob's parents for Easter egg dyeing, and a kid and adult Easter hunt. Very fun. I found an egg with a $5 bill in it so I was happy, don't need candy anyway. Below are the kids doing the eggs.

Then on Sunday after church we went to Nicole's parents for another Easter egg hunt there. Below is Justin with his basket. He got some new shoes, clothes, candy, and a ball.

Sunday morning seeing what the Easter bunny left. Mom left some stuff too. I left a movie called He is Risen about the Savior and the resurrection that we watched with the kids. I always try and do something to bring in the true meaning of the holiday and not all just the commercialized stuff. The kids enjoyed the movie and I think it helped them get a better understanding of what Easter is really about.
