Today we decided to take a drive up to my parents cabin and say hi! Here are some of the shots that Rob took on a little walk they went on and Ryan at home asleep before we left.

Good times in preschool!

The kids have been having such a fun time in preschool. I took some fun pictures of them while at my house. Here they are.

Ok so this week we were being really silly. You never would have thought that a popcorn popper would be SO exciting! Megan was the best to watch she was so excited to see those kernels start coming out. The kids were screaming as they watched them pop out!

Here the kids are painting on colored paper using bleach. It's really cool it changes colors.

Painting with tempera paints and shaving creams. They loved to feel the squishy mess in their hands and to see all the colors blend together. It was a mess but it was FUN so we didn't care!

Here are all the kids blowing bubbles they could have done this for hours. They had so much fun and I loved watching all the bubbles spill over and grow and grow!

Every year my mom takes all her grandchildren to the zoo. But this year she decided to try This is the Place monument instead. The kids being in school made us get there a little late but we still had a great time! This is such a cute little place and they really do have some fun activities and crafts for all the kids to do! We started on the pony rides since they closed first. Here are some of the pictures of our fun day!

Megan was so excited to ride this horse she just thought it was the neatest thing ever!

Here are some of the kids watching the blacksmith work and tell them how to build things.

In school all day and then they sit right down again. They have a teacher in the school who teaches them a new language the saints used when they were in school it was really creative and kind of cool. Here they are practicing what they learned.

One of the little crafts the have there is the leather shop. Here a guy showed them how to use a whip which was really cool. Then they all got their own pieces of leather and got to pound them with different designs. They were really neat and the kids had a lot of fun pounding their leather! Above is Justin and his cousin Ashlyn.

While walking around to see all the houses the kids spotted some geese and some ducks, well they immediately started to chase them and had a great time!

I saw this cute house with the steps and lined up the grandchildren for a fun picture. I guess it's only some of them.

Justin thought this was such a cook statue he practically begged me to take this picture of him with it. I think he liked the big gun. Very cool!

Something else is missing Justin!

August 2009

Justin is so excited he lost both of his top teeth within a few weeks of each other. One in Disneyland and then the other a few weeks later. It is so fun to see his empty top. "Toofless buddy" I love to listen to him talk too so cute. He looks like the typical 1st grader with these missing I think. And he is making big bucks from the tooth fairy too which is all the more exciting. A whole dollar for each one! Wow lucky boy.

Family campout!

Every year my family has a campout. The kids love going up and spending time up in the mountains with their cousins and grandparents. We stay for the Friday dinner then come back home usually. Here are some of the pictures from our day up there.

Katies 1st day of preschool!

Today was Katie's 1st day of preschool. She and the other kids were all so excited to get back into preschool that we decided to start a month early. She is in Joy school with the same two girls Jade, and Brooklynn and now Timothy as well. They are one fun group and will have a lot of fun together this year. Good luck Katie!
