Girls night fun and Ryan!

Tonight Rob had taken Justin to our wards Fathers & Sons camping activity so Katie and Megan and I and Ryan too had a girls party at home. We had such a fun time together. I let the girls decide what we did and it was cute what they chose.

Here we are painting our nails. We thought about doing Ryan's but we decided dad and Justin probably wouldn't think that was funny.

They really wanted to watch sleeping beauty and eat popcorn!

And for dinner, I thought they would want pizza or something. No, cap'n crunch! So we ate cereal for dinner then watched the movie!

Ryan was here too! We had a lot of fun and actually look forward to this night every year!




This is the only picture I got from the fathers and sons. They went to a place next to these ponds Rob took the day off and went up early with Justin and our neighbor Matt. While there they went fishing I guess Justin caught all 4 of the fish! This is the picture of him with his fish! Good job kiddo!

Time for peaches!

Well our peach tree was full and ready to bottle last week so here are some pics of the kids helping me peel and bottle the peaches. I have done pears and nectarines too. It is so nice to see them all on the shelves but I will be glad when I'm done. I froze a bunch too! I also bottled roast and chicken. Looking forward to doing the beans!

This is Justin with his new friend "Prey" it's a praying mantise and they kept him like a friend. It finally died unfortunately and they were really sad.

Butterfield Farm preschool fieldtrip!

Today for preschool we took all the kids to the farm near us. They had a lot of fun. Unfortunately not too many of the animals wanted to be seen but the still had a great time.

We saw a Barn Owl! Justin spotted it but it was really cool to watch. We also saw sheep, lamas, cows, and horses.

After the farm we went to our neighbors house and looked at there chickens.

Here are the kids looking at one of the new eggs in the pen. It was still warm and really neat. The kids had a fun day at the farm and learning all about farm animals today!

I couldn't resist posting this picture of my little buddy! He is so much fun to have in our home. It is amazing how much love a new baby brings. I think I grow as a mom 100 times each time I have a new little one around. They teach me so much mostly more patience. I love to watch my other kids with the new baby too. I truly am such a lucky person and have so much to be thankful for. Look at those big squishy cheeks (not mine) Ryan's. I love to give him zerberts and kisses. You are a keeper, thanks for all the smiles and laughs. 3 and 1/2 months have flown by!

Ryan is such a HAPPY baby boy so much so that he has rightfully earned the nickname "SMILES" He loves any attention and playing with us. He has a smile that melts your heart and you can't help but stay and play with him when he gives you one of those giant grins!

Tonight we went to Todd one of the partners at Rob's work for a good job party! They had all kinds of fun water things set up and yummy food. It was a really fun time the kids and adults all loved it.

Megan in one of the water slides! My favorite part of the night was watching several of the Dads running and trying to jump this slide. They were pretty funny to watch. Amazingly they actually did it! We have some Tiggers at the firm apparently!

Today for preschool the kids made nature viewers and we took them up the canyon about 10 minutes away and went on a hike with them. It was so fun to watch them look for nature, insects, animals, and just play and have a good time!
