Cowgirl Katie!

November 2009
Today Katie was running around the house being a cowgirl! She looked so gosh darn cute. I couldn't believe she could still fit in this costume to be honest it's only a size 2. My favorite part is the princess snow boots!

We're getting there!

November 2009
So it has been a lot of work but it's sure exciting at the same time. Our basement is slowly taking it's shape. Here are some of the pictures below.

Putting up the insulation. This was not fun!!! Rob and I never want to be insulation people that's for sure. We stayed up until 4 am to be ready for the sheet rockers. Yeah it's done though.

A lot of work.

The Sheetrock's delivered.

Into the basement it came.

Putting up insulation.

We have sheetrock! Here it is after they taped.

The mudding and taping! That is one messy job. Then the sanding, wow we had so much dust in the house I am still dusting and vacuuming daily weeks later. Now Rob has been hanging doors and putting up baseboards and molding. Hopefully soon we will be painting and moving kids around. I'll keep you posted though!

What a day!!! Fun n' crazy!

October 30, 2009
Today was one of those days where every minute of your day is planned out for you with no time to spare. Unfortunately I had to move some things around since Ryan was up most of the night I had to take him to see the Dr. first thing this morning he had an eye infection and sinus infection. So while I was at Dr. Rob took the girls to see Justin in their Halloween parade at school. When I got home I packed up the kids went and picked up Justin from school and off we went to trick or treat at Rob's grandpa's assisted living. They had a cute witch tell them stories then the kids got to trick or treat. From there we drove in to Rob's work and trick or treated at the office. They love doing this and it is so much fun to see all the kids in costumes. The kids love it too, any time they get to go to dad's office is fun to them. Then we went from there straight to Rob's parents where Rob's mom does a silly Halloween dinner every year. It's the type of dinner where you have to guess what each course and item is then you get served really silly things. It's fun every year and a lot of fun. And from here we went home. What a LONG but fun day. I'll be honest I'm glad it's over. BREATHE!
The kids at Grandpa's rest home listening to the witch.

At Rob's parents Katie and her cousin Kaitlynn happened to both be sleeping beauty this year so we thought we should take a picture!
