Someone's up a Tree?

October 2008
Today Katie came in and said mommy, mommy, Justin climbed our tree. I went out front and there was my son at the top of our tree! The best part was he had a leash hooked onto his pants so as he said "that way if I fall mom it would catch me like the ropes at the rock climbing wall do". So sorry to break your heart but it isn't attatched to anything and it would come crashing down with you. Funny how kids think. Anyway here are some pics of him in our tree.
If you look close there is a dark blob kind of at the top left. That's him!

LOVE!

Justin and Katie were sharing this seat and being so cute with each other. They are such good friends. I love seeing them so close I hope they always are!

The Pumpkin patch! FHE Fun!

october 6th, 2008 Tonight for FHE we went to the pumpkin patch with the kids. They had a really fun time picking out their own pumpkins, riding the tractors, going in the corn maze, and just plain having fun!

Our family (the sun was right in our faces so

Preschool hike!

October 2008 Today for Katie's preschool we went on a hike up the canyon by our house with the kids. They had a lot of fun. We looked at trees and the changing leaves, nutts, dirt, played in the bushes, saw wild turkey, cows, horses, dogs, and squirrels. They had a lot of fun. Justin was off track so he got to come along too. It was quite a site to see all 3 moms with their backpacks and our littlest girls all in them.

My littlest helper!

October 2008
Whoever said that kids are too young for chores? Not at my house! One of Megan's favorite jobs is unloading the dishwasher with Justin and Katie. And honestly she does just fine at it. Here she is unloading the silverware and handing it to her siblings to put in the drawer since she can't reach.

Soccer Star! Go Justin!

October 2008
The Soccer season is over. But Justin sure had a fun season. Here he is with his trophy. And some highlights below.

Happy 8 Years Rob!

October 4 2008
Happy 8 years Rob. My cute, adorable, amazing, hard working, intelligent, loving, sweet, never stopping, honorable, determined, happy, courageous, terrific, fun, outgoing, etc etc.....husband. I can't believe how fast the last eight years have gone. We have had some wonderful times together and it's amazing how much more I love him every day. Rob is so devoted to me and our family and works so hard for all of us. I am so proud and happy he is part of my life. I look forward to so many more amazing years (eternity) together! Amazing where we have come in the last eight years. Bachelor degrees, Grad School, 2 accounting firms, 3 kids, 2 appartments, 2 homes, and so many fun trips and good times together. Just imagine what more we will do!!! I am so excited for our future together. Thanks Rob, I love you! best of all we had a sitter (Robs parents thanks for watching the kiddos) and went to dinner and a movie Indiana Jones . (It feels like forever that the two of us have been on a date together and especially a movie, which was really good too and only a dollar each score)! Happy Anniversary Rob, thanks for a fun night out!

Rob is made a Manager!

October 2, 2008
What an awesome day for Rob and our family. I had to congratulate my wonderful husband on a great achievement. Today Rob was made a Manager at his CPA firm. This is such a big accomplishment and we are all so proud of him and all his hard work (becoming manager is comparable to being made a junior partner at a law firm for anyone that may not know what this means). He has worked so hard for his company and definately deserves this. We had a little celebration for him when he got home. Below are some of the pictures of this fun day! Good job dear we love you! Keep up the good work!
The sign the kids and I made!

Rob with the brownies we made him, lot's of sprinkles and frosting just like he likes!

The family went to Cold Stone for ice-cream to celebrate! Yummy! (We also celebrated Justin's birthday too, since he get's a free ice-cream for his birthday)!

Sillyism for Justin!

So Tuesday I took the kids up to Rob's work because Rick the Managing partner in the firm is retiring. I am good friends with his daughter and know him pretty well so I thought I would go and congratulate him. On our drive downtown I was explaining to the kids that he is retiring like grandpa and we are going to go and congratulate him. A few minutes later Justin says to me "so mom does that mean I can tell him congratulations on EXPIRING" I just couldn't help but laugh the rest of the way there and I tried to reassure him that no he isn't expiring but REtiring. I told Rick the story when we saw him and he thought it was really cute. Silly boy the best is that they are so innocent and serious.
