October 24th 2009
Today we held Justin's birthday party. He wanted to do a sport theme so we played all kinds of sports with all his friends. He had 27 kids come to his party and they all had a lot of fun! I had bowling, t-ball, golf, punching balls, hopscotch, soccer, football, dodge ball on the tramp, frisbee, tag, hide and seek, etc. set up for the kids to play. It was fun to watch them PLAY BALL and have fun! I was just happy we had good weather!

Visiting Grandpa! Happy anniversary Rob!

October 4, 2009
Today 9 years ago Rob and I got married. Wow such awesome and wonderful times and memories! 4 beautiful kids and more memories than I can remember. Thanks for so many great years. I am so grateful to spend a lifetime and eternity with you! Rob and I went to dinner on Friday night to celebrate to my favorite restaurant the Texas Roadhouse. While there he gave me a Diamond necklace for our anniversary and then earrings (they were for my birthday in a few weeks but he couldn't wait to give them to me and they matched) They were beautiful! I wanted to cry, and he was so happy he picked them out himself! Then we went bowling I actually got in the 100's I was so happy but he still won! Then we went and got ice cream at spoon me really great yogurt with fruit! Yum. It was a great night and lot's of fun. Then on Sunday in between conference we drove down to visit Rob's grandpa and take him dinner with Robs parents the kids had a great time with grandpa!

Bottling, bottling, and more bottling!

September & October 2009
This has been a busy fall but I hope to have a nice storage room when I'm done. Look how pretty the colors are of all the jars. I didn't take pics of everything but here are some. I have done Tomatoes, salsa, peaches, pears, chicken, roast, apples, and apricots. I did some bottling and freezing of all of them. I still have more to do but haven't had the time to do it. Hopefully I can get to it when my kids are feeling better!

We're getting closer!

September 2009
I am so proud of my handy husband. He has been so diligent this year working in our basement trying to finish it so we can move the kids downstairs and create an office for Rob. With a little help from others he has done some great work. We just passed our 1st inspection and are close to being ready to sheet rock! Here are some of the pics of Rob working hard!

Happy 7th Birthday Justin!

September 21, 2009

I can't believe my little boy is 7 wow the time has flown by. He is my grown up first grader and we are so proud of him! He had a fun filled birthday.

Justin with his Rocket cake!

Closeup of the cake!

Justin really wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese and play the games and eat dinner. So we went there that evening. All the kids had a really good time. Here they are with Chuck E!

Justin eating pizza!

Justin opening presents in his Spider man costume of course! Justin was so cute this year some years I know months in advance what my kids want for their birthdays but not this year. I finally took him to Toys R Us and told him to walk around and let me know what he wanted. Here he is with his Spy watch from brother Ryan, I got this a few months ago because I knew he would like it. He did. Megan picked out popcorn for him and Katie bought him chips. They were so cute out of everything they could get him that's what they wanted to do!

Justin opening his race track from Rob's parents!

Justin with his Marble toy! This is such a hit all the kids have had so much fun with this. I love all the creativity that goes with it. Endless ways to put it together and he can do it all by himself! We got him the more advanced one but it wasn't until we got it home and I started to put it together that I realized that was not what we wanted. It said it would take 4-6 hours to construct! No thanks we took it back and got this one! Much better!

Justin with all his birthday gifts.

Justin with aunt Shannon and uncle Brandon at my parents for birthdays! He got Lego's from grandma/pa and is loving them!

Soccer Fun!!!

September 2009
It's fall and that means it's SOCCER time again! Which means fun but busy too!!! This year Katie and Justin wanted to play, they already had a coach for Justin's team and he's great so Rob is coaching Katie's team! It has been a lot of fun a little crazy at times when both games fall at the same time, but still fun! Katie is trying really hard to be aggressive and get in there but seems to enjoy herself. And Justin is enjoying a coach that is really pushing and teaching him. They are learning to play positions and it has been really fun to watch him learn so much. Keep up the great work kiddos you're doing GREAT!

Justin playing goalie. He told me the other day "mom it's a lot harder now to get goals because they have a goalie and they get to use their hands" I agreed that this made it more difficult. But he likes it.
