My kids love to be Superheroes! Here they are Super Girl and Batman! I wish I could find a cute super girl costume. If anyone knows where let me know please!

Christmas with Rob's family!

December 2008

Tonight we had our Christmas with Rob's family. Usually we sing some songs, then we act out the story of Jesus being born, and then each family does something of their choice. Then we all exchange our gifts with one another and open them. It is really nice.

Justin and Rob were inkeepers. They let Mary and Joseph use their stable.

After opening our presents the grandkids all wanted to put on their new jammies from Grandma and Grandpa. They were all princesses and Superman and Justin was Batman, they looked cute!

Family Christmas Eve Party!

Tonight was my family's Christmas party. They had dinner, played games, and Santa came to visit. Here are some of the pictures of the night.

My Uncles dancing and pretending they are the long lost sisters from Idaho. My dad is the second from the left. I am so blessed that my dad is still with us. This past year he was diagnosed with Cancer and we were all afraid for him for a while. But he had surgery and they said it was well contained and they believe they got all of it. I am so glad and happy all went well. I love my dad so much and he has taught me so much in my life. I couldn't believe how silly he was acting something that is so not like him normally. Maybe it's that darn clown wig he has on?

Katie Dance Recital!

Tonight was Katies Dance recital. She looked so cute in her cowgirl outfit. They did the dance to "I'm gonna lasso Santa Clause" and it was so cute. She did much better this time!

Megan LOVES Santa!

My little Megan is in love with this pretend Santa I have. It is about as tall as she is. Every time I turn around she is giving it a hug, dancing with it, or playing with it in some way. It is pretty cute to watch until Santas wooden legs fall off and she get's really sad until I fix him.

My kids look forward to the big snowfalls every winter. The funny thing is Katie loves it as much as Justin. They couldn't wait to get out there this year and play. Here are some of the fun pictures of them having a good time!

The fun mess of snow clothes all over the mud room floor. It seems to look this way most of the winter. I guess this is what fun looks like!

And of course there is something about being in the cold that signifies a nice cup of hot chocolate when they come inside to warm them up! Sometimes I wonder if they only like to go outside and play because they know that in the end they'll get hot chocolate? Hmmmm I wonder?

Today I asked the kids to please go get in the car we had to run an errand. When I came out they were in the front seat singing some song about "going for a drive etc etc" they had seat belts on, Justin had on my sunglasses and they were not about to move for me. They did look pretty cute though.
