It will make your day. Sometimes I feel just like this. But I have to remember life goes on and I am building bridges and as she calls them cathedrals in my own way. ENJOY! i know people put utube videos on their blogs I tried I couldn't figure it out. Sorry, so if you want to you can go to it on utube. It's worth it I promise!

The power of MUD!

Sep. 2008
Ok so this picture doesn't even do them justice. This was taken after they had washed a lot of it off. Justin and Holland once again found our sandbox hole. But with all the rain it is a giant mud hole. The kids love playing in it and keeping them out of it has been quite the chore. Silly kids. What can I say though they are kids!

Hootenany Pancakes!

Sept. 2008

Ok so this is a fun pancake to make if anyone wants something different. I made these yesterday and the kids loved them. (I make them every once in a while) I think they love watching them in the oven more than anything. The best part is they turn out different every time you make them. Really crazy and fun especially if you have a window on your oven. (Some people call them German Pancakes but I thought this was more fitting). Here is the recipee if you want to try it.
mix:
6 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup flour
Melt 1 square butter in 9x13 pan. Pour batter into pan. put in preheated oven at 425 degrees and bake 20-25 minutes. Serve with favorite toppings, syrup, jam, powdered sugar, or whipped cream, and fresh fruits. Then just watch it go. It's really fun!

They're Engaged!!!!

September 6th 2008
Rob's brother Scott finally asked his now fiance' Stacy to marry him. They came over the night after for a while to visit and told us the good news and then I had to prod them for all the details of course. He waited until their 2 year from their first date to pop the question. Took her on a hike up to cascade springs. There is a little bench there that he was hoping to sit in and ask her but it was apperantelly being occupied at the time so they continued on their way to a meadow where he stopped in the middle and asked her. Of course she said YES!!! Yeah, and now we are all so excited! The big day is November 13th in the Salt Lake Temple. I am so happy for them, and offered any assistance with shopping etc. Because what girl doesn't like to shop! Dugh. She said she would keep me busy and I hope she does! I love doing weddings, I miss that job so much I used to help 2 of my good friends set up and take down wedding for years. I still do it occasionally but not nearly enough. Congrats!!!!

Happy Birthday Justin at School!

September 5th 2008
Today Justin Celebrated his 6th Birthday at school. His birthday isn't until the 21st but he will be off track so they did it early. Here his teacher is having the class sing. Then Justin showed the treat he bought. I took him to walmart the night before and he picked out nerds "because they are my favorite" he said. He was so excited.

Justin's class

Justin getting everything from his cubby and putting a candy in each one.

Justin giving his teacher a high 5 after class.

Justin with Rob and Megan after school. I love the cute birthday hat! He had such a great day and is loving his teacher and school so much. We are so proud of him. Keep it up Justin.

Beauty parlor!

September 2008
Cute Hair dad. I guess Katie decided to take her bows out, so Rob decided if to play beauty parlor. I guess he thought if they won't wear them I will. he got some good laughs from the kids. Looks good, maybe he should do his hair more often like this.

Oh Sweeeet Megan!

September 2008
My little Megan is something else. She is so gosh darn busy. And I can't help but laugh at all the silly things she does all the time. It's like watching my own movie all day long in slow motion. (that doen't make a lot of sense sorry). She is always into things and keeps mommy on her toes.
One of Megan's favorite things is putting on all our shoes in the house. I find shoes all day long in various places. And Megan gets really upset if she can't get them on her feet or if she can't walk in them. Here she is in Dad's running shoes.

Megan is also a climber. She climbs into places her siblings wouldn't dream of. I told my mom she is just like her mom and my mom commented "is she climbing the door frames yet?" no I said, "then she is nothing compared to you" apperantely she is begining to take after her mother.

Trying to wear glasses!

I told the kids that we would go to the gym to play. A few minutes later Megan came out with her swimming suit partly on, inside out, over her clothes! I guess she thinks when I say gym it means swimming to her! We actually weren't planning on swimming at all.

I love this shot, she is laughing and so silly! I believe we are playing peek a boo.
